Time to install your 1m2™

When we were designing the 1m2™, we wanted to ensure that installation would be as quick and logical as possible. You will see in the video below that we achieved this and that your new staircase, positioned in its new home, is just a few steps away.

Your 1m2™ can be installed by professional and amateur builders, and just two people can fit and install it.

Step 1Check and Proceed

If the stair has been supplied in two pieces, assemble the two parts. Measure the floor-to-ceiling height to confirm it is the same as the staircase.

Step 2Perfect positioning

Mark up the mounting holes as shown in the video. Position the stairs and screw only the bolt closest to the central column in place. Check the level and then screw the other two bolts into place.

Step 3Safety first 

Attach the handrail and screw the head of the rail into place at the top. Check the level of the mid-point stair and then screw the baseplate into the floor. Finally, push the anti-slip grips into the holes along the front edge of each tread.

Your 1m2™ is now ready to use!
