In this project, we renovated a historic town villa in the heart of Deventer. The villa was transformed into a combination of office space and a luxurious upper residence. The challenge was to create an elegant staircase from the first to the second floor in a narrow space. By placing the staircase behind glass, we achieved a safe connection to the living room and visually expanded the space. The glass caused reflections, but with patience and editing, we managed to create visual calm. The construction was supervised by enthusiastic relatives, who also manage the upper residence.
