Yes, the width of the 1m2™ stairs can be wider than the stairwell as long as there are no other obstacles. Wider stairs are generally easier to walk up. When ascending wider 1m2™ stairs, you will reach the actual stairwell when you are halfway up the stairs.

The 1m2™ can be placed on any type of floor. The only thing you have to check in advance is that there is no underfloor heating. If there is underfloor heating, please contact us for advice.

A handrail is required because it provides more support and comfort, especially for users unfamiliar with space-saving stairs in cramped locations.

Yes, we recommend selecting the ‘lowered top step’ option. The upper part of the handrail can be unscrewed to close the hatch.

The 1m2™ can comply with regulations if used in legitimate situations with limited space. It is not intended as a main staircase in a home or for use in a commercial or public space. EeStairs’ advisors provide advice regarding your specific circumstances.

The weight of the 1m2™ depends on the height and width of the configured staircase. On average, it is around 165 kg, but the actual weight is calculated in the configurator.

The 1m2™ staircase is made of steel and uniquely sized, which means they are not kept in stock. The stringer and treads are welded together in the factory, followed by the construction of the handrail. After that, the 1m2™ staircase receives the chosen finish. The anti-skid plugs are made of rubber for added safety.

The 1m2™ staircase is prepared on a pallet and securely protected according to the chosen transport option. A set of bolts for attaching the stairs at the top and bottom, along with any selected balustrades and rubber plugs, are included.

The handrail extends 100 cm (39.4 inches) vertically from the top step.

We have carefully worked to present the colours on the screen as realistically as possible. However, for the most accurate colour experience, we kindly advise you to use a RAL colour fan deck. This allows you to experience the colour under different lighting conditions in real life.

Due to the nature of our product, we do not offer returns or exchanges. Please note that all sales are final once the stair making process has begun. Our staircases are custom-made and designed specifically for your space, which means they cannot be reused or resold once they have been produced. We take great care to ensure that each staircase is of the highest quality and meets your exact specifications.
