EeStairs + ART QAD Architectes

A feature staircase was required for a commercial office space in Paris’ Rue De Tilsitt, close to the famous Arc de Triomphe. The architect EeStairs partnered with wanted to replace the existing staircase in a stairwell which is visible from most offices in the building.

The historic building features original interior design and artwork from the 19th century and it was the architect’s ambition to renovate the space in harmony with its traditional appearance.

The resulting staircase features wooden treads, risers and balustrades, in addition to LED lighting recessed in its handrail. Its underside features EeStairs’ unique EeSoffit finish, a surface which is both strong and durable, suitable for coating in scratch-resistant stylish high-gloss paint.
